Review MC and Essays
Synthesis: 3 sources, paragraphs, thesis
There must be evidence of synthesis. Multiple sources per paragraph put into discussion with each other.
Addressing counter claim must be in service of your argument, not detract from it.
Higher scoring essays will always quote, not just paraphrase.
Rhetorical: what devices? what is his case?
Argument: Make sure to choose a specific example to explore--each paragraph should be more specific with specific examples--history, lit, pop culture, etc.
Keep the tone formal

Intro to Research project
Your next research project will be about strong women, like the Mirabal sisters, who have led movements that have significantly changed/impacted the world. The women you focus on in your region of the world can have made ANY kind of significant impact. Also, make sure you examine women from a variety of countries in your assigned global region.
The requirements of this project will be a MLA Works Cited Page with at least 15 sources, an annotated bibliography (instructions to follow), and a shareout-something that I will figure out soon.
